MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield July 20, 1970 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at St. Bartholomew .Church on Monday, July 20, 1970 at 8:20 P.M., Mr. Richard Schmidt, Council Presi- dent Pro-Tem, presidingo The. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: PRESENT: Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. ABSENT: Mayor Busa Also present were Messrs. I;ockemer and Edelman. Mr. Leech,, seconded by Mr. $oger, made a motion to accept the minutes of .the June. 15, 1970 meeting as written. Roll Cail: AXES: Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Mr. Schmidt read the minutes of the Special Meeting of J~ne,2~i, 1970. Mr. Davisw seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, made a motion to accept the minutes of June 26, 1970 _ meeting as read. Roll Gall: AYES: Messrs. Leech, F`3.tz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Local Income Tax Pfio ress Re ort: Mr. Loekemer - Lists of the regular W-2 forms of Dec. 3l, 19 9 were very incomplete. Checked out the print outs from other cormunities, principally, Gates Mills, and found 99.496 of Kenwood Area go to Gates Mills Post Office section of Mayfield Village.. He will check out the print outs for our people in Mayfield Heights, $ighland Heights and Lyndhurst. It does not mean that tax went to these communities but it is possible. We can not get this money back. We would have to hire an auditing firm to go in~and officially determine how much money is going to these other communities. SOM CENTER WIDENING PROGRESS REPORT: Mr. Schmidt - Reported that it possibly will not be widened, that the state has lost the federal funds. Mayfield Heights mayor will find out what the actual action will be. 5He is working with Mayor Busa on this problem. Council Meeting recessed for a presentation of the indexing, etc, of our ordinances made by Mr. Michael Michalko of Permacode Systems,.Inc., Rochester, New York. Council Meeting reconvened at 8:45 P,M. . Sanitary Sewer~~at Beech Hill and $onnieview: Mr. Schmidt reported that the mayor has sent letters and had telephone conversations but nothing has been done, as yet.
