MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield August 17, 1970 The Co{zncil of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at St. Bartholomew Church on Monday, August 17, 1870 at 8:10 P.M., Mayor Busa, presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: PRESENT: Messrs. Leeoh, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger,Schmidt and Davis. ABSENT: None. Also present were Messrs. Lockemer, Edelman and Hovancsek. Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to accept the minutes of the July 20, 19'70 meeting as written. Rol7~ Call: AYES: Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: None. ~. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Old Business ' Local Income Tax Progress R~ep_ort: Mr. Lockemer - Nothing new to report. 1-290: Mr: Hovancsek- Nothing new to. report. SOM Center Road Widening Progress Report: Mr. Hovancsek - A letter from Mr. Masheter of the Ohio State Highway Department was received informing us that funds were not cancelled, but that the letting of bids was deferred to a later date. Water Tap-In: Mr. D'Agostino stated that there is no problem, as yet. Mr. Stefanski, Utilities Director, of the City of Cleveland notified us on June 2, 1970 that we have a 60-day period for a written agreement for our water supply. Tabled fox another month. Sanitary Sewers at BeechHill and Bonnieview: The County Engineers have in- stalled 1500 feet of. snow fence around the contaminated area. Mr. D'Agostino was asked to check the fence. . Permacode Systems, Inc. Rochester , N, Y.: A date will be set to meet with councilmen regarding codifying of ordinances befoxe the September Council meeting. Village Hall Building Progress ~teport: Mr, Leech- ~2eviewed plans drawn up by the architect and specifications for plumbing, electrical,heating, concrete, sewer work and carpentry are out and the need is'for contractors to bid.
