MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield September 21, 1970 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at St. Bartholomew Church on Monday, September 21, 1970 at 8:15 P.M., Mayor Busa', presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Ro11 Call: PRESEI~IT: Mayor Busa, Messrs. Leech, Fitz_Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. ABSENT: None. Also present were Messrs. Lockemer, Edelman and Hovancsek. Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mro Boger, made a motion to accept the minutes of the August 17, 19']0 meeting as written.. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. beech, Fitz_Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: None. Motion Carried -- Minutes Approved 01d Business: Local Income Tax Pro ress Re ort: Mr. Lockemer: Mrs. May- nard atten ed the last meeting and checked into the Mayfield residents who have a Gates Mills address and found we are getting 100io of the money returned to our village. Freewa~~I-290: Mr. Hovancsek: Nothing to report. SOM Center Road Widening Progress Report: Mr. Hovancsek: No additional progress. Still deferred until money is avail- able. Mr. Edelman suggested that council pass a resolution regarding costs of moving utilities that are approximately ~41,OOOo00. RESOLUTION ~: Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced RESOLUTION 77'], Entitled, "A,RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLAN; PROm POSING TO COOPERATE; '.AND REQUESTING DIRECTOR TO PROCEED"o Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, made a motion to suspend the rules of law requiring a resolution be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Leech, Fitz® Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NA~.LS: None. Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Boger, moved that Resolution #777 be approved and passed as read. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs.
