MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield October 19, 1970 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at St. Bartholomew Church on Monday, October 19, 1970 at 8:10 P.M., Mr. Richard Schmidt, Council President Pro-tem., presid- ingo The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: PRESENT: Messrso Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. ABSENT: Mayor Busa Also present were Messrs. Lockerner, Edelman and D'Agostino. Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to accept the minutes of the September 21 , 1970 meeting as written. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: None. '" Motion Carried Minutes Approved Architectural Board: Mr. Leech: No meeting. Building and Grounds Oommittee: Mr. Bordonaro: No report. Recreation Committee: Mr. Schmidt: Met on October 15, 19?0 and~the minutes of~~t~e meeting were read by Mro Bogero Union Cemetery: Mr. Leech: Fence across front to 'oe installed soono Some repairs were made at the site. Streets and Roads Committee: Mro Fitz-Gerald: Met with the ~oeop~ein the' Beec er's Brook area of Aintree. Park and we reached a stalemate on sanitary sewers and water lines. They do not wish to pave the road at their expense at this time. Civil Defense: Mr. Boger: The recently acquired van is sanded and money is needed to have it painted and also requires housingo M~or's_Advisory Committee: Mr. Fitz-Gerald: No meeting. Villas Hall Committee: Mr. Leech: Met with architects and by Nov.~,~l~(5 we shall have drawings and specifications completed. Bids will be received by the end of December. Mr. Leech read the letter that is being mailed to the residents of Mayfield Village regarding the Bond Issue for repairing and remodelling the village hall. Estimated cost to be X110,000.00.
