NIINUTES OF SPECIAL FETING Village of Mayfield Dec. 14, 1970 , The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in Special Meeting at St. Bartholomew Church on Monday Dec. 14, 1970 at 7:30 P.M., Mayor Busa presiding, pursuant to notice to all members of Council. t Roll Call: Present - Mayor Busa, Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. Absent - Nir, Bordonaro. - --- Also present were Messrs. Edelman and Lockemer. Mr. Edelman stated that the purpose of this meeting was to report the _ _. tabulation of bids received for the sale of Municipal Building Bonds------=~ -- of 1971 in the amount of $100,000,00 for the rebuilding of the Village Hall, and to vote on the passage of a Resolution for acceptance of one of these bids. The bids received were as follows: NAME OF BIDDER AMT.BONDS BID FOR INT. RATE PREMIUM I`~erill, Turben Prescott X100,000.00 5-7/8% X1,006,00 , & Co. Magnus & Company 100,000,00 5-7,~8/ I 303,00 McDonald & Co, 100,000,00 /4~ 6- 1,514.00 The Clerk-Treasurer filed a tabulation of bids received for the sale of Municipal Building Bonds. Since the bid of Prescott, Merrill, Turben & Co. is the highest bid based on the lowest rate of interest and highest premium, 1`'Ir. Leech, seconded by Ivlr. Fitz-Gerald, introduced Resolution No. 786, entitled: " A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE HIGHEST BID FOR X100,000,00 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS UPON THE LOIrIEST RATE OF INTEREST BY A RESPONSIBLE BIDDER." Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the rules of law re- quiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Boger, Schmidt & Davis. Nays - None Motion Carried Rules Suspended a I Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Leech, moved that Resolution No. 786 be approved and passed as read.
