8. <br />RESOLUTION X788: Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, <br />~~ introduced RESOLUTION #788, Entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONGRATULAT- <br />ING THE CITY OF CLEVELAND ON THE OCCASION OF ITS 175th ANNIVER- <br />SARY." Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to <br />suspend the rules of .law requiring a resolution to be read on <br />three separate occasions. Ro11 Call: AYES: Messrs. Leech, <br />Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schm~.dt and Davis. NAYS: None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that Resolution #788 <br />be approved and passed as read. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. <br />Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: <br />None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />ORDINANCE #70-51: Mro Fitz-Gerald introduced ORDINANCE #70-51, <br />it~.ed: "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM <br />CLASS U-1 USE DISTRICT TO AN OFFICE-LABORATORY DISTRICT." <br />Given a second reading. . <br />Public Hearing: A public hearing has been set for February <br />~,: ~7~$:00 P.M. at St. Bartholomew Church on the rezon- <br />,~ ing of the 40 acres of land on the southwest corner of Wilson <br />Mills Road and Interstate 2710, Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by <br />. Mro Leech, moved to accept the date set for a public hearing. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrsa Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, <br />Schmidt and Daviso NAYS: None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Each one in his turn at the council table wished everyone a <br />"Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". <br />Mr. Lockemer wished for a "Speedy Recovery" to Mr. Edelman, <br />who was to undergo minor surgery the following day. <br />Comments from the floor: <br />Mayor Bennett wished everyone "Happy Holidays". <br />Mro F1o~rian Rickey: Asked Chief Shortie if the narcotics <br />problem here is for public information? He questioned how <br />council can financially cut anyone item in the budget? <br />Mayor Busa stated that he has been pleased with an excellent <br />Finance Committee and it has made him look "good". Further, <br />. he is grateful to its memberso <br />There being no further business, Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. <br />~~~ Davis, made a motion to adjourno Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. <br />~~ Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis.
