G. <br />SOM Center Rd. Widening & Guard Rail Progress Report: i~Tr. Hovanc- <br />sek: Reported that July 4, 1871 all 4 main lanes will be complete- <br />ly concreted. Contractor is ahead of schedule. Ohio Highway <br />Division 12 will seed and level off the berms within the next week <br />or so. <br />Guard Rail is up and it should be painted. Our state highway funds <br />can be used for paint and our service dept. shall do the painting. <br />Tree on North Side of Fisher's Tavern: NIr, I~ovancsek: I~'Iayor Busa <br />is greatly concerned about the safety factor and he wants the tree <br />removed before it falls and someone gets hurt. ~Tr. Hovancsek will <br />check into this with the state for removal. <br />Reciprocal Income Tax Sub-Committee Report: intr. Leech: 55 com- <br />munities were asked to join in a new collection agency. 33 have <br />already passed a resolution to join. <br />ORDINANCE x#71-31: Mr. Leech, seconded by I`~Ir. Davis, introduced <br />ORDINANCE x#71-31, Entitled: "AiV ORDINANCE AUTHORI~ITVG ATvD DIR- <br />ECTING THE MAYOR OF THE VILLAGE OF 1'IAYFIELD TO ENTER IIdTO AN <br />AGREEITENT FOR THE ESTABLISHt~IENT OF A REGI01`IAl, COtTNCIL OF GOVERId- <br />MEIVT . " <br />Given a first reading. <br />Mayor Busa stated that Cleveland has been depriving us of funds. <br />NIr. Lockemer stated that we actually will be getting more than <br />previously with this new agency. <br />Beech Hill-Bonnieview Pumping Station Improvement: NIr. Hovancsek: <br />1Vo report has come back from the State of Ohio. The cost has in- <br />creased and this may be the reason for the delay. <br />Town Hall Siren: Chief Hejcl: This can't be detached from the <br />roof until the cupola is delivered because both will be done at <br />the same time. The siren will be mounted on a pole in rear of lot. <br />Village Hall Rebuilding Progress Report: T~Tr. Leech: A few <br />items still need to be done plus landscaping. The solid granite <br />stone will be placed and eventually, as funds become available, <br />a plaque listing lost soldiers of all wars from t~Tayfield Village <br />will be attached thereto. <br />Mayor Busa shall write a letter of gratitude to the vestry of <br />St. Bartholomew Church for the use of their facilities while our <br />town hall was being restored. Council gave consent. <br />Aintree Park Sub-Division Sewer System: Our village engineer <br />has attempted to meet with them relative to acceptance but has <br />been unsuccessful. <br />Krenzler-40 Acres Litigation: T~'Ir. Edelman: It is possible that <br />the court will advance the case for trial in the fall of 1971. <br />Master Plan Citizen's Committee Progress Report: i'Tir. Smith <br />stated that 4 members of council~°and tiayor :Busa had attended <br />their meeting. On June 30, 1971 they shall have a workshop <br />
