E. 1~Iaynard <br />~2 .00 for general fund deposit received from the sale of <br />surplus jail material originally costing X100.00 for the <br />whole jail package. <br />Eastern Cuyahoga Enforcement Bureau: Chief Shortle stated <br />that our initial cost is ~u500.00 and that this is a joint <br />project comprising b police departments in the Hillcrest <br />area. It is not new in Cleveland area suburbs but a first <br />for an east side suburb. Tt would be good to be prepared <br />with the rift type of sophisticated equipment and trained <br />personnel when needed. Federal grants are easier to obtain <br />for a region. Oct. 14, 1971 a meeting will be held to dis- <br />cuss the project jointly. Mayor Busa urged the council to <br />endorse this adventure by resolution. Council agreed the <br />project had merit and requested more information. <br />Ohio Bell Permission: At b205 Ridgebury Blvd. Ohio Bell <br />Telephone Co. asked for permission to string underground <br />cable and this was referred to i~ir. L. riovanesek, who <br />approved the request and council gave its approval. <br />S.O.~i. Center N.d. Traffic ~i~ns: i~~ir. Boger reported that <br />there aren't any "iJo atopping" signs posted on 5.0.11. Center <br />Rd. which was recently widened. He recommended ths.t this <br />be enforced immediately.
