MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETIiVG Village of Mayfield ` " October 18, 1971 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met~in.regular~•session at Mayfield Vihage'Hall on Monday, October 18. 1971 at 8:15 P.M., Mayor Vince J. Busa, presidingp The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present: Mayor Busa, Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Schmidt and Davis. Absent: Mr. Boger Also present were Messrs. Edelman, Hovancsek,. Straterand::. Chiefs He j cl and Shortle . ~ ~ , Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, moved that the minutes of the Sept. 20, 1971 Meeting be accepted as wxitten. Roll Call:: AYES: Messrs. beech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Schmidt and Davis. iJAYS: None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Old Business: Local Income Tax Progress Report: Mr..Davis: We are still getting our regular share and a small amount of money is now coming in from the industrial park., Sewer Tap-in Court Case Progress Report: i~1r. Edelman: ivotning. to report. Traffic Control purvey Pro~ress`Report: Chief Shortle; Nothing to repast. S.O.M. Center Rd. W~ idenn~,Pro~ress R~ t: Mr. $ovanesek: Complaints from residents about rocks, gradings, etc. .have,. been reported to the state and they are taking corrective action. The incorrectly positioned CEI pole north of Wilson Mills and east side of SOM Center Rd. will be corrected by • them. Mr. Lasorella referred to the correction of the ditch- ing in front of his Home. Councilman Schmidt sees a hazard to children at this point along SOM Center Rd. and would like a barrier to deter them from entering a 36" diameter pipe. Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis,. made a motio~.to spend money for correction of these two matters by the service~~ _ department..
