I~ITIJiTTES OF THE S1~ECI1-iL i~iEETI1JG <br />Village of Mayfield <br />1Jovember 30, 1871 <br />The Council of the Village of 1~layfield pursuant to notice <br />met in Special Session at ivlayfield Village Hall on Tuesday, <br />ldovember 30, 1}71 at 8:.15 P.i`~t., Mayor Vince J~ I3usa, presid- <br />ing. <br />The i'ledge of ~~1legiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mayor I3usa, Messrs. Leech, Fitz- <br />Gerald; Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and <br />Davis: <br />Absent : 1'done <br />Also present were Messrs. Edelman, Relic and Chief Shortie. <br />I~Zayor Busa stated that the purpose of the Special I~ieeting <br />is by mutual agreement with i'lanning and Zoning Commission <br />for the consideration of the landscaping proposal of I~lulti- <br />con Properties, Inc. and to expedite their building <br />program in order to give them an answer before our <br />-~, regular mont~.ly meeting scheduled for Dec. 20, 1971. <br />Planning 8cLonin~ Commission: T~Ir. Fitz-Gerald read his <br />minutes of the Special Session of 1V~ov. 23, 1971. Ivlatters <br />that came before the commission were a request for con- <br />sideration to be given to I~iulticon to change the material <br />used in the roofing from cedar wood shingles to asphalt <br />and evaluate the final planting plans submitted to coun- <br />cil previously. The commission approved the tree plant- <br />ing plan and also approved an amendment to the prelimin- <br />ary and final plans of 1lulticon by substituting asphalt <br />shingles for wood shingles as previously shown on exist= <br />ing plan. <br />Discussion followed by council and Ivlr. James H. Oeste, <br />Vice-president of Marketing for 1'~Iulticon rroperties, Inc. <br />Mr. Oeste, in his own handwriting on the bottom of his <br />letter to Chairman Hopkins dated Nov. 22, 1871 approved <br />the following, dictated by Mr. Edelman: "Multicon agrees <br />that it will not receive any occupane~Z permit unless <br />either the above mentioned landscaping has been completed <br />or in the alternative assurity or cash bond in the amount <br />of X25,000.00 will be given to guarantee such completion, <br />the form of bond to be approved by the solicitor.a" <br />~ -' RESOLUTIOL~T: Mr. Leech, seconded by l~~Ir.
