Mlidening Progress Report: Mr. Hovancsek: A release was given to the contractor on the highway por- tion of the work as it now is with no additional work required. CEI pole in sidewalk on the east side and north of the Sohio Service Station will be removed at our re- quest by CEI expense. I~ir. Boger asked I~Ir. Hovancsek to check into 2 other poles he feels are mislocated. Master Plan: Mr. Rickey reported a workshop meeting held and another planned. Diet with I~ir. Cullen of the state office on federal aid for additional planning. Pollution Control: Mayor Busa informed I~Iayor-elect Beebe that he will be glad to coordinate witYi him to further our interest in not allowing the million gallon holding tank to be built in our village. Joint Recreation Feasibility Study Committee: ivIr. Schmidt: Nothing new to report. Council Chambers Kitchenette Progress Report: Mr. Leech: The ,general contractor, architect, heating and electrical sub-contractors have completed their work. Council agreed that the air conditioning company should not be paid in full until next spring or summer when it is definitely con- cluded that the system is working to our satisfaction. Police Car: One bid was received from Deacon Chrysler- Plymouth Co. for a 1972 Plymouth for X3,687.00, less trade- in of X600.00 for a 1969 Pontiac, net price ~u3,087.00. IUIr. Relic reported a phoned-in bid from LaTour Olds- mobile of 53,542.00 including the 1969 Pontiac trade-in. Discussion followed and it was agreed by council to adverb tine for 2 separate bids, one to buy a new police car with out a trade-in and the other to advertise to sell the 19b9 Pontiac on the open market. Nir. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by i~Ir. Boger, made a motion to reject the bids and readvertise for the police car.
