Relic: t;ccording to bookkeeping in the clerk-treasurer's office the building dept. and the service dept. are two separate departments and he would like to facili-~ tate bookeeping and go on record that henceforth records for them will be one and the same;, Building and Service Dept. Council President beech: "The income tax credit was a wise step. We shall evaluate the income as it comes in. Further, I wish to recognize the gentleman, who has sat next to me at council for the past two years, i~~Tr. Fitz-Gerald, with a 'Proclamation."' T~Ir. beech read it aloud and handed it to Mr. Fitz-Gerald with a presentation of a writing pen set, through the courtesy of councilmen. Councilman Schmidt: Read a plaque furnished by council and presented it to T~Iayor Busa as a testimonial of his four years of service as mayor of Mayfield Village, Councilman Fitz-Gerald: Read an original poem written by '- him memorializing Mayor B~asa's years as mayor. Mayor Busa thanked all members of council, engineer, law director, clerk-treasurer and recording secretary and said he was grateful for their support. He stated that he en- joyed the work, challenging at times, but a pleasure to serve. Further, he had no intention of losing interost in this town, as it is his town, also. Mayor Busa offered his help and services to Mayor-elect Beebe at anytime and at any place in the n~;w administration. Councilman Bordonaro: vJished to express council's thanks to the community club for their holiday decorations of the village hall and the outside pole trimmings. Happy holi- day to all. Councilman Boer: Good wishes to all. Councilman Davis: ~~ happy holiday season. Mayor Busa: ~, Very T~Ierry Christmas and a Happy flew Year. "lend to i~Ir.
