1? <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayf ie1 d V il'lage <br />February 9, 1987 <br />The Coucicil of Mayfield Vi'llage met in Specia'1 Session on Monday, February <br />9, 1987, at 8:05 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hal'l. Mr. George <br />Goley.,;• Ccuncil President Pro--Tem, presided. <br />Ro'll Ca'1'l: Present: Mr. Flynn, AZr. Goley, and Mr. Petschauer <br />Absent : Mr. Basi'le, Mr. Etz'ler <br />Also Present Were .. Mr. Amendola, Miss Heath, Mr. Fene'li <br />Mr. Goley said this Spec.ial Meeting was cal'led to consider a contracC for <br />emp'loyee hospita'lizaCion insurance. <br />Discussior., was held on the type of insurance coverage the employees presently <br />have and whether the Corporate I policy of First Priority - Corporate I policy <br />would be the_best for the employees with coverage the same or better Chan ehey <br />presently have. <br />Ie was the consensus of the Counci'1 members present that they would like the <br />emp'loyee hospital.ization insurance policy of "First Priority - Corporate I" <br />,_ . (which includes the $2 deductib'le prescription drug card and vision at no <br />extra cost.) As an addition to tha.s policy, Chey decided on the "Major Denta'1 <br />II $25 Deductible with 100% paymer..t for A.P.D." insCead of the Major Dental II <br />$50 Deductible with 100% payment for A:P.D. <br />Mr. Goley introduced Resolution No. 87-16, to 'oe _given First Reading, entitled; <br />"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE.MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE A <br />CONTRACT WITH COMMUNITY MUTUAL AND CONNiIUNITY LIFE FOR HEALTH AND TERM LIFE <br />INSURANCE, RESPECTIVELY, FOR ENIPLOYEES OF P4AYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, FOR THE <br />PERIOD COMMENCING MARCH l, 1987 AND TERMINATING FEBRUARY 29, 1988 AND <br />DECLARING AN EMER.GENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Who1e. <br />(Note: Section '1 of this resolution states the contract wi'll be through the <br />agent of record, Lawrence C. Barrett, C.L.U., DiBart Insurance Agency <br />Corporation.) <br />Mr. Flynn introduced Reso'lution No. 87-11 to be given First Reading, entirled; <br />"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE A <br />CONTRACT WITH COMMUNITY MUTUAL AND COMMUNITY LIFE FOR HEALTH AND TERM LIFE <br />INSURANGE, RESPECTIVELY, FOR EMPLOYEES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, FOR THE <br />PERIOD COMMENCING MARCH l, 1987 AND TERMINATING FEBRUARY 29, 1988 AND <br />DECLAR.ING AN EMERGENCY."
