Introduced by <br />Mayor Carmen and Council as a Who1e. <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />87-32. <br />Mr. Goley commented that he has a problem with the criteria used in other <br />communities to qualify for the emergency assistance program. He does not <br />feel that because a person is receiving social security that that should <br />automatically indicate their need for assistance. <br />Mr. Etzler said he thinks the.program may not have been handled properly <br />in all communities. To qualify for the program, a certain income level <br />must be met.
