lo/i9/s7 <br />Page 3 , 47 <br />Recreation - Mr. Petschauer said the annual Halloween Party will be held <br />October 31 at 2 p.me at Center School. There will be a costume contest judged <br />by 3 members -of various organizations. He said the "Over 30" Softball season <br />is coming to an end; it was a big success. Mr. Petschauer said the next event <br />sponsored by the Recreation Committee is the annual Christmas Party with a <br />visit from Santa. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said there was no meeting this inonth. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Progressive Insurance - Mayor Carmen said an agreement has been drafted <br />regarding the relocation of the drive and the sale of the homes to private in- <br />dividuals in the Progressive park area. That agreement is currently being <br />reviewed by the Worton Park Homeowner's Association. Mayor Carmen said that <br />Progressive has retained the services of NOACA to study both the driveway <br />proposal and the property value appraisal. He said there will also be a <br />separate study of the overaTl plan f or the Progressive facility. They will <br />make recommendations regarding traffic, drainage, and property valuesa <br />Bicycle Path and Guard Rails - Mayor Carmen said that several depression areas <br />need to be corrected. He said Mr. Hovancsek wrote a letter to the Ohio Dept. <br />of Transportation to express our concern about the low areas. Mayor Carmen <br />said that he called Mr. Martin Gallito of O.D.O.T. regarding this matter also. <br />Mr. Gallito assured him that the project would not be accepted by the State <br />until the areas of concern were corrected to our satisfaction. Mayor Carmen <br />said that Mr. Hovancsek prepared plans to show which drives should be elevated <br />and Mro Amendola provided himwith photographs and plans for guardrails to be <br />put in along the bike path. He said that a cost analysis will be done and a <br />determination will be made regarding which type of guard rail is most <br />aesthetically pleasingm Mayor Carmen said this information will be reviewed <br />at the next Council Caucus. He said a decision will be made closer to spring <br />when the guardrail should be put up. <br />Historical Society - Mr. Feneli said that he prepared a copy-of the, lease for <br />the Historical House; it was sent to the Mayor's Office Friday. He said a <br />copy should probably be given to the Historical Society for their review. <br />Ridgebury Blvd. Culvert - Mr. Hovancsek said that he gave the legal <br />description to the Law Director so that he could prepare the easement. <br />Mr. Feneli asked if a decision has been made regarding what will be done. <br />?
