21. <br />NIINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCII. <br />Mayfield Village <br />. December 6, 1991 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met at 8:20 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Mayfield Village <br />Ha11. Council President.Bruce Rinker presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Flynn, <br />Mr. Pietrafese (8:30 a.m.), and Mr. Rinker <br />Absent: Mrs. Mills <br />Also Present Were: Mr. Ramos, Chief Mohr, and Miss Heath <br />Mr. Rinker said the special meeting was called to consider Mr. Panzica's proposal for an addition <br />at 6690 Beta Drive. He asked Chief Mohr if the items he was concerned with had been taken care <br />of. <br />Chief Mohr said he is concerned with four things: <br />1) Sprinkler system <br />2) Elevators <br />3) Standpipe location (so the pumper could rie in at the street) <br />4) Water line going to the new building <br />Chief Mohr said the plans are at Factory Mutual. He said Mr. Panzica has verbally agreed to make <br />the necessary correcrions but that he does not have anything in writing. <br />Mr. Flynn and Mr. Basile said they want to see Mr. Panzica's agreement to make the necessary <br />corrections in writing before they will vote. <br />Mr. Ramos said Council could vote now with the conringency that the concerns be taken caze of. <br />Mr. Pietrafese arrived at this time (8:30 a.m.) <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Rinker said based on the recommendation of the Fire Chief that the concerns must be <br />addressed in writing, there is insufficient basis on which to vote at this time. <br />The other members of Council agreed. <br />The Law Director will contact Mr. Panzica. <br />Chief Mohr said Mr. Panzica verbally stated he will do everything. <br />Mr. Rinker said it is wrong for Council to approve something so essential to the safety, health, and <br />welfare of the community unril everything is formally in place. <br />Mr. Rinker asked if Council wanted to consider Mayor's Carmen's request to purchase the Ecto <br />car and cellular phone.
