101 <br />Special Council Meeting 3/28/94 <br />Page Three <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Council went into Executive Session at 6:38 p.m.. <br />? Council reconvened at 6:55 p.m. <br />CO Shuffleboard Court <br />z Mayor Rinker drew a diagram of the layout of Wiley Park on the board. He said the <br />C development was discussed with the Recreation Committee as to how far we could go <br />? before we get info development that would be dependent upon the Wiley Park ditch. <br />For flood control purposes, we did not want to invest where it was going to be <br />vulnerable. Mayor Rinker said the idea is to put in shuffleboard courts and then a <br />walkway. He wants to get the cement work poured, then he will be able to put the <br />bocce courts in. He has indicated that all this is stuff that he had thought was agreed to <br />last year and I believe that it was. This is all part of the plan the Recreation Committee <br />had agreed as to the layout going this far. Mayor Rinker explained Gus' design. The <br />concrete pad could double as a dance area. He explained the senior gentry group uses <br />the bocce courts on a regular basis. Mayor Rinker said Mr. Amendola said he has to get <br />the shuffleboard courts in so he can get the bocce courts in. <br />Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to approve an expenditure up to <br />$3,500 for shuffleboard courts. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to adjourn. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />The meeting adjourned at 7 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion Carried
