<br /> <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />December 5,1994 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, December 5,1994, <br />at 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President Joanne <br />Cinco presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, <br />Mr. Fixler and Mr. Flynn, - <br />Absent: Mr. Flynn, Mr. Amendola, Chief Stevens <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Diemert, <br />Mr. Hovancsek, Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, and Miss Heath <br />J <br />Council President Cinco said she has passed on some information to Council <br />regarding the purpose of tonight's meeting which is to approve some monies that will <br />be reimbursed to us for soil borings. She asked Tom Cappello to explain the urgency of <br />this matter. <br />Mr. Cappello said the soil borings are part of the North County Trunk Sewer <br />project. He received four bids on Friday. The lowest bid was in the amount of $17,885. <br />The cost will be split between Mayfield Village and Highland Heights. He said the <br />Village will be reimbursed for this fee by Cuyahoga County. Council needs to give <br />their approval so they can give the go ahead to PSI to get this project going. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to authorize an expenditure <br />for soil borings in an amount not to exceed $10,000. [Since the total cost will be split <br />between Mayfield Village and Highland Heights, the invoice will be greater" than <br />$10,000.] <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Mr. Brett said he had a question as to the specifics of the copier (authorized for <br />purchase by the Service Department at the November 21 meeting.) He would like the <br />minutes to reflect what will be invoiced: Gross cost: $3,995; less trade-in: $1,500; net <br />cost: $2,495. <br />Mrs. Cinco said Council has approved that expenditure.
