MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETIl?TG OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />january 25,1993 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in special session on Monday, january 25,1993, at <br />four fifty-five p.m. (4:55 p.m.) in the Council Chambers at Village Hall. Council <br />I'resident Bruce Rinker presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, and <br />Mr. Rinker <br />Absent: Mr. Basile, Mr. Flynn <br />Also Present Were: Mayor Pietrafese, Mr. Brett, Mr. Diemert, and Miss Heath <br />Mr. Brett said that Council has a new version of Ordinance No. 93-04 in front of them. <br />He apologized for there being so many revisions. He noted the changes as follows: <br />General Fund $4,210,618.64 <br />Street Construction, Maintenance and Repair Fund 44,799.90 <br />Community Room Fund 17,480.78 <br />Special Assessment Street Lighting Fund 72,560.02 <br />Capital Improvement Fund 147,396.26 <br />Performance Bond Fund 4,594.00 <br />Hanover Woods Fund -0- <br />Mr. Brett said these changes were required because expenses exceeded revenues. <br />Mr. Brett said the second ordinance is for the temporary appropriations for the <br />first quarter of 1993, probably for about one-fourth of what the Village spent last year. <br />He asked if there were any questions. <br />There were none. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 93-04, entitled; "An ordinance appropriating funds for <br />current expenses and expenditures for the period from January 1,1992, and ending <br />December 31,1992, and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Pietrafese and <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
