MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />February 3,1993 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Wednesday, February 3,1993, <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President Joanne <br />Cinco presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Busa,lVlrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn (7:35 p.m.) <br />Absent: Mr. Basile <br />Also Present Were: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Diemert, and Miss Heath <br />Mayor Rinker said Mr. Amendola is attending an electrical course so he is unable to <br />attend this meeting. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 93-06, entitled; "An ordinance revising the zone map <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio, so as to amend the use classification of land located at 6447 <br />VVilson Mills Road, from its motorist service district, to local business district. <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 2/1/93-in title) <br />Mrs. Cinco said a Public Hearing is scheduled for Friday, March 5, at 8:30 a.m., here. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Mrs. Cinco asked Council's feelings on the appoinfinent of a Ward 4 council <br />representative. She said if they do not make an appointment by March 2, it will be up to <br />Mayor Rinker. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if Council felt they should send a letter to the Ward 4 residents asking <br />for their interest and to see if they get a response. Depending upon the responses they <br />receive, they will then determine how to handle the matter. <br />A brief discussion was held. <br />Mr. Busa and Mr. Ferrante expressed some reservations about such a letter. <br />Mrs. Cinco explained that when the School Board had a recent vacancy, they asked all <br />interesteci people to send something in. <br />Mr. Flynn arrived at this time (7:35 p.m.) <br />Mr. Fixler suggested waiting about two weeks before sending any type of letter. He <br />would like to see if someone who is really interested will come forward by that time.
