Regular Council Meeting <br />9/20/93 <br />Page Eighteen <br />IZOLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Autho`rized <br />Issue II Funds <br />Mrs. Cinco said we neeci to go out and apply for the sewers in Worton Park for Issue II. <br />We need approval to apply for the Issue II funds. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said a resolution has to be made up to authorize the Mayor to enter into <br />a request for the funding. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she needs a motion. <br />1Vdr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Leppla made a motion. <br />Mrs. Leppla asked Mr. Hovancsek if Mr. Stephens asked him about the pipe. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the size of the pipe will be an 8" sanitary sewer. <br />Mr. Stephens (in the audience) asked if that was standard and if it is a large enough <br />pipe to handle the community. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that was standard and that is the minimum size used in the <br />subdivisions according to the uniform standards adopted by the Cuyahoga County <br />Sanitary Engineering Department, City of Cleveland and all municipal suburbs. Mr. <br />Hovancsek said it is a large enough pipe to handle that particular cluster of streets. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she needs all of Council's approval. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carrieci <br />Authorization Given <br />Mrs. Cinco said if there is no discussion on the two-year contract Gus recommended for <br />snow removal, <br />Mr. Fixler said he would want a provision (in case there is a problem) that we could get <br />out of the contract after the first year. <br />Discussion was held whether to set a number or percentage of complaints or to phrase it <br />in such a way for substantial non-performance.
