MINUTES OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />January 8, 1996 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, January 8, 1996, <br />at eight o'clock p.m. (8:00 p.m.) in the Council Chambers at Village Hall for their <br />annual Organizational Meeting. Wallace Ferrante, 1995 Council President Pro Tem, <br />called the meeting to order. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, <br />Mr. Fixler, Mr. Marquardt and Mr. Parker <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Diemert, Chief Mohr, <br />Mr. Samac, Chief Stevens and Miss Heath <br />Mr. Ferrante said the first order of business was to get Bruce Rinker sworn in as <br />Mayor. <br />OATH OF OFFICE - MAYOR <br />Law Director Diemert administered the oath of office to Bruce G. Rinker as Mayor <br />for a four-year term. <br />Mayor Rinker said he wants to make certain we do not lose the attributes of small <br />town village life. The next four years will pose significant challenges for all of us. <br />Mayor Rinker said he would like to continue working together to make the Village <br />better still. <br />OATHS OF OFFICE - COUNCIL MEMBERS <br />Mayor Rinker administered an oath of office to William Marquardt as the Ward <br />One Council member for a four-year term. <br />Mayor Rinker administered an oath of office to Stephan Parker as the Ward Three <br />Council member for a four-year term. <br />Mayor Rinker administered an oath of office to Mark Fixler as an At-large Council <br />member for a four-year term. <br />Mayor Rinker administered an oath of office to William Buckholtz as the Ward <br />Four Council member for a four-year term.
