Regular, Council Meeting <br />1/29/96 Page 8 <br />Citizen's Advisory Pat Sanister, Jolnn Barni, Sandy <br />Batcheller, Mary Beth Brooks, <br />Joan Catalano, Jerri Ciraolo, Mike <br />Dodson, Nancy Farmer, Rob <br />Jamieson, Shirley Jay, Carole <br />Marrie, Tom Marrie, James <br />Mason, Patsy Mills, and Jeffrey <br />Schiemann. <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to confirm the appointments <br />(listed above) to the Citizen's Advisory Committee (for a one-year term.) <br />Note: Council President Fixler said Mary Beth Brooks is replacing Greg Simpson <br />who had to step down. (Mary Beth's name was added and Greg's name was deleted <br />from the list on the agenda.) <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried Appointments Confirmed <br />Mayor Rinker said the Citizen's Advisory Committee has been around for quite <br />some time. They are the eyes and ears of the community and help to identify <br />problems and work as a liaison. For the last couple of years, he has tried to expand <br />that theory and make them a more proactive group. We have a group of people on <br />Citizen's Advisory that he has utmost faith in their creative ability and their <br />dedication to their community. There is a lot of work ahead of us. They will help <br />us look to the best way to develop the northwest quadrant. <br />Mayor Rinker administered oaths of office to Pat Banister, Sandy Batcheller, Joan <br />Catalano, Jerri Ciraolo, Rob jamieson, Shirley Jay, Carole Marrie, James Mason and <br />Patsy Mills. <br />Human Services Director Eunice Kalina <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to confirm -the appointment of <br />Eunice Kalina as Human Services Director (for a one-year term.) <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Appointment Confirmed <br />Mayor Rinker said the Commission on Aging is an active group and is growing all <br />the time. Mxs. Kalina is the heart, soul and spark of this group.
