Page 6 <br />Second Reading of Resolution No. 96-05, entitled; "An emergency resolution <br />establishing the compensation of the Animal Warden and declaring an emergency." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 1/29/96.) <br />Resolution No. 96-05 to remain on second reading. <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak <br />must first state their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion <br />pertaining to the items under "Old Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />Mayor Rinker and Council President Fixler requested the agenda be amended to <br />include an Executive Session for the purpose of potential litigation. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to amend the agenda to include an Executive Session for the purpose of potential litigation and to recess <br />into Executive Session. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />: Agenda Amended <br />Council went into Executive Session at 8:30 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 8:55 p.m. <br />Presentation of Distinguished Budget Award (by Ron Brooks; Budget Director of <br />Summit County) <br />The award was presented earlier during the meeting. <br />Employee Hospitalization Insurance - Mr. Lawrence Barrett of DiBart Insurance Agency <br />discussed the renewals Mr. Brett had distributed to Council two weeks ago. Mr. Barrett <br />recapped alternate proposals and recommended the Village remain with its existing hospitalization carrier. Mr. Barrett said he has been handling the medical and dental <br />insurance policies for Mayfield Village for the past 9 years. (He also cited comparisons <br />of coverage between network and non-network physicians, including deductible fees.) <br />He asked if ar.yone had any specific questions. ,
