MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />? June 17, 1996 <br />?_- <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, June 17, 1996, at <br />8:00 p.m. in the Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Mark Fixler <br />presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, <br />Mr. Fixler, and Dr. Parker <br />Absent: Mr. Marquardt <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Diemert, <br />Mr. Hovancsek, Mr. Metzung, Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, <br />and Miss Heath <br />Patsv Mills, 733 Kenwood Drive - asked about the letter she had sent Mayor Rinker <br />and Council regarding the dedication of a portion of the new fire station to former <br />- - Chief Allan Hejcl. <br />A brief discussion was held. <br />Council President Fixler said he had an opportunity to talk to the firefighters and <br />they are supportive of. this. He questioned if the educational room might be <br />dedicated to former Chief Hejcl. <br />Chief Mohr suggested the flagpole since former Chief Hejcl was very patriotic and <br />loved the American flag. <br />Mayor Rinker and Council agreed they would like to do something (in the form of a <br />dedication) in appreciation of former Chief Hejcl and will discuss what type of <br />plaque would be appropriate and where it will be located. <br />Herb Scott. 964 Aintree Park Drive - said it has been 8 months since construction <br />began on the apartment garage and cars [from apartment residents] have been <br />parking on Aintree Park Drive. Soon we will run into leaf collection and snow <br />removal. He asked if Council doesn't have some push to get them organized and <br />moving.
