6 <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />7/1/96 <br />Page 5 <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"Old Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />Council President Fixler asked for a motion to amend the agenda for the foliowing items: <br />Ordinance No. 96-23, consideration of a special use permit for Quick Lube, land subdivisions, <br />new commercial use permit for 651 Beta, additional expenditures for Lolly the Trolley, and <br />amendments to the 1996 BOCA code. (Council President Fixler said he wants Council to <br />consider the above-mentioned items this evening since this will be the only meeting held this <br />month. <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to amend the agenda to include the <br />items stated by Council President Fixler above. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 96-23, entitled; "An ordinance adopting a tax budget for the year <br />1997." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />1VIr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 96-23 in title. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted (in title)
