Regular Council Meeting <br />8/5/96 <br />Page 6 <br />Progressive - 6300 Wilson Mills Road - Discussion of request to allow a permanent narking lot <br />on the site of their current temporary parking lot. <br />Council President Fixler said we had discussed this at the last Caucus and Bill Buckholtz was <br />going to look into some past history of the area. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said he could not find anything prohibiting parking. The landscaping would not <br />change and the trees will help shield it the trees would remain. <br />The gentlemen in the audience said yes. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said the more it keeps the parking from the houses, the more we like it. <br />Mr. Ferrante said Planning and Zoning recommended approval to Council. They had questions <br />about the drive but they were cleared up. <br />Council President Fixler asked if there were any further comments. <br />There were none. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to go with P&Z's recommendation and <br />approve the temporary parking lot becoming permanent as well as putting the geo design in as <br />being monitored by the Mayfield Village Police Department. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Approval C'iiven <br />Centerior Energy - Discussion of Request for Antenna - 681 Beta Drive <br />Council President Fixler said since they have asked for a continuance, there, is no reason to go <br />ahead with this. <br />*A motion to authorize an expenditure not to exceed $16,000 to the Cuyahoaa County En ineer <br />as the Village's nortion of the cost of resurfacing and engineering fees for White Road. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure not to exceed <br />$16,000 to the Cuyahoga County Engineer as the Village's portion of the cost of resurfacing and <br />engineering fees for White Road. <br />Mr. Cappello said originally we suggested 1Vlayfield Village apply for 80-20 split in funding. The <br />County would rather proceed with 50-50 funding. That way Mayfield Village prepares the bid <br />specs and bids out the project. Otherwise, the project might not get done this year. We will only
