i COMMISSION ON AGING/ HUMAN SERVICES <br />? February 15, 1999 <br />This afternoon the Commission on Aging hosted its <br />annual Employee Thank You Luncheon to show the appreciation that the <br />senior citizens in the community have have for the various village services <br />they utilize. Approximately 30 employees were in attendance. <br />Upcoming special events for the seniors include informational <br />presentations by Mike Bova of LifeLine Screening on Tuesday, March 2 at o p.m. <br />and?o?iinc of Benjamin Rose Institute on Tuesday, March 16 at 12:30 p.m. <br />Mike Bova is involved with a health screening program being held in the Community -I" <br />Room March 12. <br />Thursday, March 4 the seniors in the community are invited to the high <br />school for West Side Story. There is no charge for those holding senior <br />activity passes or tickets which can be obtained from me free of charge <br />in advance of the performance. <br />Plans have been finalized for trips to the Beck Center in May <br />for The Odd Couple and Ohio Light Opera in July for La Vie Parisienne. <br />? The Anniversary party is Saturday, May 15 and plans for that are also <br />falling into place. <br />? The Card group is going well.
