COMMISSION ON AGING/ HUMAN SERVICES <br />April 19, 1999 <br /> <br />This Thursday afternoon begins our bocce season. Our numbers <br />are small, but those who participate really do enjoy and look forward to <br />this activity. Hopefully we will recruit "some new players this year to <br />compensate for those who have moved away or can no longer play. Perhaps <br />additional publicity in our summer recreation bulletin will help. I'll <br />be meeting with Bill Thomas tomorrow regarding this and other joint venturese <br />The Card Group continues to go well each Tuesday. Blood <br />pressures will be monitored tomorrow as they generally are on the third <br />Tuesday of each month. <br />Wednesday, AugOst ??mmer schedule includes picnics Wednesday, June 23 and <br />These will be at 4:30 p.m. at Wiley Park or in the <br />Community' Room if the weather so dictates. <br />Trips scheduled are Thursday, May 20 to the Beck Center for <br />lunch and a performance of The Odd Couple and Tuesday, July 27 to <br />Wooster for lunch, a.trip to Everything Rubbermaid, and Ohio Light Opera's <br />La Vie Parisienne. <br />Our Anniversary Party is Saturday, May 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. in <br />the Community Room.
