Regular Council Meeting <br />2/20/95 <br />Page Eleven <br />Mr. Brett asked for authorization to prepare specifications for demolition of the <br />buildings at 770 and 776 S.O.M. Center Road. [The Fire Station site] <br /> <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to authorize the preparation of <br />specifications for demolition of the buildings at 770 and 776 S.O.M. Center Road. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />Soil Boring Samples <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize the expenditure of <br />$2,500 to EDP for soil boring samples taken on the same properties (770 & 776 S.O.M. <br />Center Road.) <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Fire Station Notes <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize the Finance Director <br />to roll over $200,000 in notes and to take preliminary steps to sell another $2.8 million <br />dollars in notes for the Fire Station. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />NAYS: None <br /> <br />Mr. Brett said he has the 1995 budgets available at the end of the meeting. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she did not attend the January 25 meeting so she would like to change <br />her vote (on consideration of the minutes) to an abstention. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Alma Winkle, in the audience, said she is a new member of the Commission on Aging <br />who came to be sworn in tonight.
