Special Council Meeting 3/27/95 <br />Page Seven <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 95-15,. entitled; "An emergency ordinance <br />authorizing a professional services contract with EDP Consultants, Inc. for the <br />fire station site." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First <br />Reading 3/20/95.) <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Fixler asked Council's pleasure--to leave the ordinance on second <br />reading, or to consider it this evening. <br />Mr. Flynn said he had spoken to Chief Mohr who said he talked to Tim <br />Panzica. Mr. Panzica said the other companies who do this same type of work <br />are very close in their charges. Mr. Flynn said he, personally, is satisfied. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. <br />95-15. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />A motion to amend Section One of Ordinance No. 95-19 directing the Mayor <br />to enter into an agreement with The Guardian Insurance Company pursuant <br />to the terms and conditions set forth in Exhibit "A", effective May 1, 1995 as <br />and for an employee dental program..." Said policy is to be effective April 1st, <br />1995.. <br />A motion to authorize the tiayment of $166,527.70 to Worker's Compensation. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to authorize payment of <br />$166,527.50 to Worker's Compensation. <br />Mr. Brett said this is lower than last year's payment.
