Special Council Meeting <br />5/23/95 <br />Page Six <br />Mr. Buckholtz, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to authorize the expenditure <br />of $5,629.00 to Gates McDonald for the enrollment fee into the group Rating <br />Program. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Hauter - Expenditure for sand and topsoil for the vollevball court <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to authorize the expenditure <br />of $3347 for sand and topsoil for the volleyball court at Wiley Park. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Cuyahoga Countv Public Library - Variance Request <br />Discussion was held about the library's request to start construction at 4 or 5 a.m. <br />They had made the request so they will not have to close the library during <br />construction. <br />Mr-. Samac explained the work they will be doing. <br />Mr. Fixler said he had suggested Donna ask them to record the noise level and bring <br />in a demo tape. He did not want Council to have to go to the library site to listen to <br />the demonstration. <br />Mrs. Cinco thinks he needs to demonstrate this to the residents in the area. <br />Mr. Samac said they provided him with copies of the paperwork. They are <br />following EPA regulations. <br />Council determined, at this point, they do not have enough information to warrant <br />changing from code requirements to allow an earlier starting time.
