Regular Cottncil Meeting <br />4-20-98 <br />Page 7 <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 98-18, "An emergency ordinance amending Section 133.02 <br />creating a petty cash account for swnmer camp." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council <br />as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />1VAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspencied <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 98-18. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enact-ed <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 98-19, entitled; "An emergency ordinance declaring #he <br />necessity and intention to appropriate for street purposes a fee simple interest in and to the <br />premises known as permanent parcel nos. 831-5-27, 831-5-28, 831-5-29, 831-5-30, 831-5-31, <br />831-5-44, 831-5-45, 831-5-46, 831-5-47, 831-5-48." <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Cinca, made a motion to suspend the rules .of Council <br />requiring an ordinaxtce to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 98-19. <br />Mr. Busa asked if this is Midvale and if any of these inciude the 4 we own. <br />Mr. I?iemert said this is for Midvale and this is in addition to those. <br />Mr. Busa asked why we are buying them. <br />Mr. Brett said it will be all on Village property until it hits Midvale. He explained we have <br />avoided confiscation. We made a good faith effort to acquire the property. <br />Mr. Busa askeci if we are on legal grounds as far as acquiring the properties, etc.
