Regular Council Meeting <br />July 19,1999 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />Mr. Samac asked if Council would amend the agenda to consider the Mayfran addition. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to amend the agenda to include <br />consideration of an addition for Mayfran. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />Council President Marquardt asked why Council approval is necessary. <br />Mr. Samac said this is just as a matter of procedure so everyone knows what is going on; it is <br />administrative; it is a commercial addition. We always come back for final approval from <br />Council. <br />Mayor Rinker asked if any additional revenue or jobs will be generated. <br />Mr. Samac said it will provide an increase of about 30 employees. <br />Mr. Busa said there might be an ordinance or an objection to punch presses in the Industrial Park <br />in Mayfield Village. He remembers passing a law. <br />Mr. Samac said they have several in the building now. He will check the books on that. <br />Council President Marquardt read the motion as follows: <br />Consideration of a motion to grant preliminary site plan approval for the Mayfran <br />addition. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to grant preliminary site plan approval for the <br />Mayfran addition. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Approval Granted <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Dr. Parker thinks Recreation is doing a great job; everything is going well. <br />Mr. Busa said the northeast corner of Mayfield Village near the pool needs to be maintained. <br />The lawns and frontage and landscaping along SOM look terrible. It is a request from clot-of <br />neighbors on S.O.M. Center Road and the side streets. <br />
