Regular Council Meeting <br />9-27-99 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />1 <br />Roll Call: AYES: All. <br />NAYS: None ~ Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />^ 1Vlodular Office Building for .the Police Department <br />This item will be discussed at a later date as well. <br />Mr. Brett said he checked with Councilperson Cinco, Chairman of Safety & Service. We would like <br />to-move the start time of the Safety & Service meeting to 7:00 p.m. and if anyone is interested <br />(especially Finance Committee members), they could join Chief Stevens to review the existing <br />facilities, review what plans we have looked at and have eliminated_at this point and review the site <br />where the proposed modular unit will go. <br />Everyone agreed to meet in the middle of the pumpkin patch between the Village Hall and the Police <br />Annex at 7 p.m. <br />^ Purchase of a Computer-Aided Dispatch and Records System <br />There was no action; this will be discussed at a later date. <br />^ Advertisement of-Fleet (4 police cars) for the Police Department <br />There were no objections to Chief Stevens placing the advertisement. <br />^ A motion~to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $ to the Positron Corporation <br />for a Teledine Isolator (to provide lightning protection to the phone lines and dispatchers) <br />There was no action on this item. Mr. Ilacqua said Chief Stevens will get a better figure on that. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 99-32, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the Mayor <br />to enter into a contract with Summer Breeze for the purpose of snow removal." Introduced by <br />Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />IDr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 99-32. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />
