NAYS: None ~ Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized ^ 1Vlodular Office Building for .the Police Department This item will be discussed at a later date as well. Mr. Brett said he checked with Councilperson Cinco, Chairman of Safety & Service. We would like to-move the start time of the Safety & Service meeting to 7:00 p.m. and if anyone is interested (especially Finance Committee members), they could join Chief Stevens to review the existing facilities, review what plans we have looked at and have eliminated_at this point and review the site where the proposed modular unit will go. Everyone agreed to meet in the middle of the pumpkin patch between the Village Hall and the Police Annex at 7 p.m. ^ Purchase of a Computer-Aided Dispatch and Records System There was no action; this will be discussed at a later date. ^ Advertisement of-Fleet (4 police cars) for the Police Department There were no objections to Chief Stevens placing the advertisement. ^ A motion~to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $ to the Positron Corporation for a Teledine Isolator (to provide lightning protection to the phone lines and dispatchers) There was no action on this item. Mr. Ilacqua said Chief Stevens will get a better figure on that. First Reading of Ordinance No. 99-32, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Summer Breeze for the purpose of snow removal." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
