? <br />57 <br /> <br />Mr. Toth said Council received a copy of the tabulation of bids for the <br />$800,000.00 Service Building bonds. T.he lowest bid was from the Ohio Company <br />with an interest rate of 8% and a premium of $328.00. Council also received <br />a copy of a resolution awarding the bonds to the Ohio Company of which he <br />recommends passage. <br />Resolution 83-11, entitled; "A RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE FOR THE AWARD OF AN <br />ISSUE OF $800,000.00 SERVICE BUILDING BONDS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced by Mayor Beebe and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there were any comments. <br />There were none. _ <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br /> <br />L__J <br />i <br />Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to adopt Resolution 83-11. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mrs. Hanus asked Mr. Amendola about the odor from the leaves across the street <br />from Mr. Schulz. <br />Mr. Amendola is aware of the problem and it will be taken care of. <br />Mr. Etzler said he wants Council to be aware that Workmans Compensation for <br />all volunteers of Mayfield Village (such as Recreation Committee, etc.) is <br />being considered. The Law Director is also checking our liability insurance <br />coverage for volunteers.. <br />Mr. Busa asked what was being done about the f ire hydrant that was knocked <br />down on S.O.M. Center Road. <br />Chief Hejcl and Chief Stevens are taking care of the matter. <br />Mr. Busa asked Firefighter Porter to remind Chief Hejcl that the Acting Mayor <br />has directed him to complete his documentation of his review with an evaluation <br />investigation of.the incident of Friday morninge He said this must be given to <br />the Police Chief by Tuesday night.
