. ? ? <br />? <br />MEETING OF "OLD BEEQ3ER' S BROOK RpAD^ PRUPEIri'Y OWNERS <br />June 12, 1983 at 893 Beecher's Brook Road _ <br />SUMMARY <br />A majority of property owners who have frontage on the private section of <br />Beecher's Brook Road met to discuss the road's resurfacinq. Those in attendance <br />unanimously agreed to contract the road gesurfacing with C.O.E. Inc. at a total <br />approximate cost of $15,000. <br />In accordance with the instructions stated in property titles, the cost Will be <br />prorated by frontage foot. The property owmers also agreed to share equally <br />the cost of resurfacing Mrs. Brown's section of the road. The target coupletion <br />date for the project is on or before August 30, 1983. I+iINUTES Marc Raia chaired the meeting which came to order at 8:25 p.m. Gay (Mrs. Daniel) <br />Reiber was chosen Secretary. Present Frere Janres Fittipaldi, Roy Jones, A§rr. & Mrrs. <br />Marc Raia, Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Rei.ber, Joseph Stankus and Ron wallo, a majority <br />of the residents on the private section of Beecher's Brook Road. <br />Matters discussed: <br />Grant of Easement property titles held by Caputo, Raia, Reiber, A. Russo, <br />Stankus & wallo. The titles require Old Beeches's Brook Road property owaers <br />to maintain the road upon agreement by the majority of the otimers. <br />- Bids received for resurfacing the road. Mr. Stankus recommended the proposal <br />submitted by C.O.E. Inc. (attached), specifying the road bed be scraped`and re-layed to a depth of 6" to 8°'. <br />- Section of road awned by Mrs. Marie Brawn. Ws. Braam is wiiling to aigow tne <br />residents to repaar her section provided no damaqe is done to her trees or <br />property. <br />- Mayfield Village's position. Mrso Brawm's legal action, combined with the <br />Grant o£ EAsement titles probahly make the Village's resurfacing plans nnot. <br />- Future maintnnance. Mr. Stankus suggested working with the Village Engineer to <br />encourage Mayfield Village to "dedicate" the road. If it becomes a dedicated <br />road, then the Village Would be responsible for future maintenance. <br />The follaaing motion was passed unanimously; <br />"The majority of the property owners agree to have the zoad resurfaced in accozdance <br />with the.C.O.E. Inc. proposal to 20' width; then attempt to have the road dedicated." <br />(Proposed by Mr. Fittipaldi, seconded by Mr. Jones.) <br />It was further agreed that: <br />- Resurfacing will be done by the residents regardless of the tawn's decision about <br />dedication of the road. <br />(continued ony.2)
