176 Resolution of . Etecogtiition: of : F'ir.e: Cliiefs`: Ass6ciation. - Mr. Feneli reported this has not been passed by other communities yet. Council authorized Mr. Feneli to prepare legislation regarding the Fire Chiefs Association. Beech Hill Pumping Station.- Mr. Hovaxicsek said the data covering the last meeting will be sent to Mayor Beebe. Stevens Ordinance Proposal (Crime Fzevention) Mr. Feneli said Chief Stevens had advised him that he` met'with the Chief of Security from Lawsons. Lawsons is the only present business that would apply to this ordinance. In their opinion, in order to comply with the ordinance would require a capital expenditure and it would not be financially feasible for them to continue their business if this ordinance is passed. It may be possible to pass an ordinance excluding present businesses, to apply only to new ones. Council agreed to discuss this next month. Amendola Ordinance.Proposal - Satellite Antennas - Mr. Amendola has requested an ordinance be devised for this. He and Mr. Feneli will discuss this and it will be discussed by Council at,the January Caucus. Marquardt Request for Payment of Bill for Trees - Mr. Feneli explained that Mr. Caplan had agreed to replace trees in the Spring of 1984 and suggested ? the bill be submitted to him. Discussion was held. Mr. Busa, seconded by Nlrs. Hanus, made a motion to authorize payment to Mr. Marquardt and to submit the bill to Mr. Caplan for reimbursement to the Village. Mr. Busa asked if there was any discussion. Mr. Feneli said this could be precedent setting. Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Busa, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Hanus NAYS: Mr: Carmen, Mr. Etzler Motion Carried Mayor Beebe to authorize the Finance Director to make payment to Mr. Marquardt for the bill he submitted for trees he planted on his tree lawn in the amount of $128.12. Village Insurance Coverage - Information is still being gathered, no recommendation has.been made to Council yet. 7 ? ?
