?J <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayfield <br />Ma.rch 24, 1982 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in Special Session on Wednesday, <br />March 24, 1982 at 7:10 p.m. in the Village Hall. Council President, Michael <br />W. Spellman, presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Etzler, Flynn, Spellman, and Mrs..Bloom <br />Absent : Messrs., Busa,.Carmen, Mrs. Hanus <br />Also Present Were . Dale Feneli, Mrs. Maynard <br />Council President Spell.ma.n stated the meeting was called for the purpose of <br />considering legislation regarding the renewal of the 1.6 mill levy,.which <br />in order to be on the June ballot; the resolution must be passed tonight. <br />Resolution 82-23, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RENEWAL OF A 1.6 <br />MILL LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF SALARIES OF PERMANENT POLICE PERSONNEL FOR THE TAX <br />DUPLICATE YEARS 1982 THROUGH 1986, INCLUSIVE AND REPEALI,NG ALL ORDINANCES <br />INCONSISTENT HEREWITH." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Etzler,. seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Cbuncil requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs.,.Etzl.er, Flynn, Spellma.n, and Mrs. Bloom <br />AYES: (Cast at the next meeting of Council - April 12, 1982) <br />Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Mrs. Hanus <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried. <br />Rules Suspended <br />Council President Spellman, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to adopt <br />Resolution 82-23. • <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Etzler,.Flynn, Spellman, and Mrs. Bloom <br />AYES: (Cast at the next meeting of Council - April 12, 1982) <br />Messrs., Busa, Carmen, and Mrs. Hanus <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />There being no further business, Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. F1ynn, made <br />a motion to adjourn the meeting. . <br />There being no objections, the meeting adjourned at 7:21 p.m.
