<br />Recodification Process <br />Council President Spellman announced it is too late to go to the polls with <br />any zoning ma.tter to be recodified. He suggested the Department Heads review <br />the Codif ied Ordinances and make recommendations to Council of any changes <br />they feel necessary. <br />Mayor Beeb.e stated only one quote has been.received for recodification - from <br />Justinian Publishing Company, Walter H. Drane has not submitted their quote <br />as of yet. Mrs. Maynard verif ied this. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Ordinanc.e 82-53, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ENACTING SECTION 331.39 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, ENTITLED, "TIME AND ATTENTION." Introcluced <br />by Council President Michael W. Spellman. . <br />Council President Spellman said Chief Stevens advised him there is already <br />something similar to this in the book. He asked.for Mr. Feneli's comments. <br />Mr. Feneli suggested the ordinance be placed on first reading so he can discuss <br />it with Chief Stevens and Mr. Feudo as there are technical problems with a time <br />and attention ordinance, and if similar legislation exists there is no need to <br />be redundant. He explained the ordinance which_is a traff ic ordinance. <br />Ordinance 82-53 given first reading. <br />Resolution 82-549 entitled; "A RESOLUTION DECLARING TAE NECESSITY FOR EROVIDING <br />FOR THE PAYMENT OF STREET LIGHTING AND THE IMPROVEMENT OR INSTALLATION OF <br />ADDITIONAL LIGHTING BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT OF ALL PARCELS BENEFITED AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by the Ma.yor and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the.bills for street lighting and tax duplicates for the <br />Village have been reviewed. The 1982 -'83 street lighting assessments have <br />been prepared. He explained that due to the slow down in economy there has <br />been a slow down in construction which did not merit making annual assessments, <br />therefore they were prepared for a two year period. <br />Council President Spellman, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspende'd
