OLD BUSINESS Ordinance 85=18, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A FOLICY OF "EMPLOYER PICK-UP" OF EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE VARIOUS OHIO.PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENGY.". Introduced by Mayor Fred N. Carmen. ' Mr. Etzler said Ordinance 85-18 was given second reading. NEW BUSINESS • Fox Spreader - Mr..Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to approve the purchase 6f a Fox road materials spreader in the amount of $2,595. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None 1968 Ford Cab and Chassis = Mr. Goley, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to authorize the advertisement of bids to sell the 1968 Ford cab and chassis. Roll Call: AYES: Al1 NAYS: None Quarterly Meeting with the Sewer District - Mr. Hovancsek.reported the meeting has been scheduled for Wed.riesday, December 4, in tlie Mayor's Office. S.C.B.A.`s for the Fire Department - Mr. Goley, seconded by Mr. Etzler; made a motion to approve the purchase of the S.C.B.A.'s in the amount of $2,775. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Resolution 85-66, entitled; "A RESOLUTION RATYFYING THE ACTION.OF THE MAYOR IN PURCHASING A GENERATOR FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM TRAYCO. ELECTRIC IN THE AMOUNT OF SEVEN THOUSAND EIGHT HiJNDRED DOLLARS ($7,800.00) DECLARING THE SAME TO BE A TRUE EMERGENCY PURCHASE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mr. Etzler reported this amount was the lowest of three prices quoted.. Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions.
