54 <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to pass Ordinance 84-30. <br />There was no discussion. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Ordinance 84-31, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 139.04 OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE DEALING WITH THE D7SP05ITION OF <br />PROPERTY.HELD.BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT." Introduced by Mayor Fred N. <br />Carmen. <br />Ordinance 84-21 was given first reading. <br />Ordinance 84-32, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE REVISING THE DISTRICT AND ZONE <br />MAP OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, SO AS TO REZONE FROM SMALL BUILDING DISTRICT <br />TO MOTORIST SERVICE DISTRICT ALL OF PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 831-15-27, THE <br />SOUTHERLY APPROXIMATE FOUR HUNDRED (400) FEET OF PERMANENT PARCEL N0. <br />831-15-26, AS MEASURED FROM THE FRONT LOT LINE, AND THE SOUTHERLY APPRO.XIMATE <br />FOUR HUNDRED (400) FEET OF PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 831-15-23, AS MEASURED FROM <br />THE FRONT LOT LINE, AND SUBMITTING THE SAME TO THE ELECTORS OF THE MUNICIPALITY." <br />Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mayor Carmen explained the customary procedure to be followed whenever a <br />formal zoning request is made.. Council does not take any position on zoning <br />requests. When a request is made, it is first introduced to Council and_ <br />they refer it to the Planning and Zoning Commission for their recommendation. <br />Ordinance 84-32 was given first reading. Council will refer it to the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission. <br />Resolution 84-11, entitl.ed; "A RESOLUTION URGING THE CONGRESS OF THE UNITED <br />STATES AND THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE $TATE OF OHIO TO PURSUE AN EQUITABLE <br />RESOLUTION TO THE ACID RAIN PROBLEM." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council <br />as a Whole. Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to adopt Resolution 84-11. <br /> <br />There was no discussion. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Resolution 84-12, entitled; "A RESOLUTION URGING THE STATE HOUSE OF <br />REPRESENTATIVES TO DEFEAT AMENDED H.B. 534 PERTAINING TO FUNDING FOR <br />MUNICIPAL COURTS."
