122 <br />Resolution 84-39, entitled; "A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN FINANCIAL <br />INSTITUTIONS AS DEPOSITORIES FOR INTERIM FUNDS OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />FOR THE T470 YEAR PERIOD COMMENCING WITH JANUARY l, 1985,.AUTHORIZING <br />DEPOSITORY AGREEMENTS WITH SAID INSTITUTIONS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced.by Mayor.Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded.by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES.: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Bloom, Mr. Etzler, and Mr. Flynn <br />NAY S : None <br />ABSTAIN: Mr. Goley <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to adopt Resolution 84-39. <br />Mr. Goley explained the reason for his abstaining was due to the fact that he <br />is employed by one of the banks named in the resolution. He had requested the <br />company he works for to be dropped from the resolution but to do so would put <br />a hardship on the Finance Department. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Bloom, Mr. Etzler, and Mr. F1ynn <br />NAYS: NQne <br />ABSTAIN: Mr. Goley <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Ordinance 84-44, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, FOR THE PERIOD <br />COMMENCING JANUARY l, 1985,-AND ENDING MARCH 31, 1985 AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a GThole. <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to pass Ordinance 84-44. <br />Mr. Toth said that it is a standard procedure to pass temporary appropriations <br />each year to take care of the period between January and March until the <br />permanent appropriations are passed. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br /> <br /> <br />
