19 <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />March 7, 1988 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met. in Special. Session on Monday, <br />March 7, 1988, at 8:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. <br />Council President Santo Basile presided. _ <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, <br />Mr. Petschauer, Mro Rinker, and Mre Santoro. <br />Absent : None <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Mr. Feneli, Mr.Hovancsek, <br />Mr. Patrick, Chief Mohr, Chief Stevens, and <br />Miss Heath. <br />Mr. Basile said that the meeting was called to consider legislation <br />regarding an easement that is required for the SOM/Beta Traffic Signal. <br />First Reading of Resolution-No: 88=5, entitled; "A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING <br />AN EASEMENT FROM WHITEHAVEN PARK ASSOCIATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, <br />MAINTENANCE, INSPECTION, OPERATION, PROTECTION, REPAIR, AND REPLACEMENT <br />OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL POLE AT THE INTERSECTION OF BETA DRIVE AND SOM CENTER <br />ROAD, AGREEING TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS WHITEHAVEN PARK ASSOCIATION <br />FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE <br />AFOREMENTIONED GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced <br />by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Supsended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />88-5. <br />Mr. Feneli said that the easement was sent to Whitehaven Cemetery. He <br />said that they had suggested a couple of minor changes which are now <br />included in the agreement--none of which change it substantially. Mr. <br />Feneli said that he did not think there would be a problem getting them <br />to sign it and that he should have the signed easement within the next <br />day or so. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted
