48 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />4/18/88 <br />Page 18 <br />Mayor Carmen said that he was also contacted by many of the residents. He <br />said that we have contacted the Post Office. We also contacted Dan Clark at <br />Congressman Feighan's office to enlist his aid in talking to the Post Office <br />to see if he could persuade them to have a mailman deliver on foot to those <br />homes. Mayor Carmen said that he would also request the aid of Senator <br />Metzenbaum and Senator Glenn to see if they would get involved. <br />Council went into Executive Session at this time (10:45 p.m.) to discuss <br />personnel and litigation matters. <br />Council reconvened at 11:30 p.m.. . <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Santoro, made a motion to amend the agenda to <br />include Ordinance No. 88-17. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All , <br />NAYS: None . Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 88-17,,.entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING <br />TERMS, CONDITIONS AND COMPENSATION FOR THE SERVICES OF THE DIRECTOR OF LAW, <br />AND DECLARING AN'EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a <br />Whole. „ <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None.
