2 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />7/18/88 <br />Page 4 <br />Forest City Enterprises - Mayor Carmen said he received a letter from Mr. <br />Hovancsek relative to this matter. He will include copies of the letter in <br />Council's Friday packets. <br />Musca Property - Mr. Basile said that Mr. Musca has rented all but two of the <br />places in his buildinga He asked what happensif there is no parking <br />available for the other two occupants, <br />Mayor Carmen said that he will be able to rent the places but that he may be <br />unable to obtain occupancy, permits if he doesn't comply with the parking <br />requirements. <br />Sprinkling Ban - Mr. Basile said he read an article in the newspaper about a <br />certain company that was able to use a great deal of water unnecessarily and <br />wondered why we were required to have a sprinkling ban. Mayor Carmen said he <br />had also seen the article but did not know the answer. He said that the <br />Village was asked to issue the sprinkling ban by the Cleveland Water <br />Department, <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />No Parking Signs at Fisher's Tavern - Mayor Carmen said we are in the process <br />of working that oute <br />Wall at Aintree North - Mr. Amendola said he would not instruct anyone to <br />clean up the bricks until the investigation was over with. <br />Discussion was held regarding who owned the property and whose responsibility <br />it was to maintain the wall. <br />Chief Stevens said that the investigation had been completed. He said that <br />someone from the Homeowner's Association had requested an insurance report. <br />Annexation of Rear Lots on Foxboro Drive - Mr. Basile said that we had <br />received a request from Mayfield Heights to annex several of the lots on <br />Foxboro Drive (properties that are partially in Mayfield Heights). He said <br />this matter was discussed at the Caucus. Council has determined to leave the <br />lots as they are. Mayor Carmen said he will advise Mayfield Heights. <br />Rubbish Bids - This item was discussed during the Finance report. <br />Concrete Barriers on Bilce Path - Mrs, Mills said this has been referred to Mr. <br />Hovancseke <br />Chief Stevens said he received prices for the concrete barriers. He said per <br />O.D.O.T. requirements they must be four feet away from the curb lane. He <br />asked that they be given a few days to study the text. He asked Mr. Ramos to <br />investigate the question of liability, etcv Wilson Mills Road Update - Mr. Hovancsek said the contractor has finished the <br />main line work to S.O.M. Center Road. They still have a few more connections <br />to make. In the next.day or so they will be lining barrels to Franklin Road <br />in Highland Heights. He said the construction is about 7% behind schedule, <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he felt relatively certain that the contractor would catch <br />up in the next two months. <br />?_ <br />
