124 <br />Special Council Meeting <br />10/5/88 <br />Page 2 <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 88-43, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO ACCEPT A RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT FROM <br />PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING AND MAINTAINING <br />A TRAFFIC SIGN POLE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen <br />and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco said that instead of "tabling", the motion should be to "postpone <br />indefinitely." <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to postpone consideration of <br />Resolution No. 88-43 indefinitely. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Postponed Indefinitely <br />Mr. Basile said that he would like to amend the agenda to include Resolution <br />No. 88-46. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend the agenda. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 88-46, entitled; "A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE <br />AUTHORIZED EXTRA EXPENDITURES IN THE PREVIOUSLY AWARDED CONTRACT TO BURGESS & <br />NIPLE, LIMITED TO PREPARE A STORM DRAINAGE STUDY FOR MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY SUCH AUTHORIZED EXTRA EXPENDITURE <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a <br />Whole, <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />88-46. <br />Mrs. Cinco requested more information about what would be done with the <br />study. <br />Mayor Carmen said that we must determine how we are going to implement the <br />studys <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Rinker, and <br />Mr. Santoro <br />NAYS: Mrs. Cinco <br />Motion Carried , <br />Resolution Adopted
