22 <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said that a deck and three new <br />single-family dwellings were approved at their last meeting. He said that <br />the A:.R.B. meeting date has been changed to the last Thursday of the month <br />in order to avoid a conflict with the Planning and Zoning Commission meetings. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr: Amendola said there was no requirement for a meeting. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Etzler said a CEI Program on Sma7.1 Appliances is <br />scheduled for February 27, the Village Fire Department will be giving a <br />seminar about high blood pressure kits on March 13, the Card Group meets <br />the first and third Tuesday, the Craft Group meets the second and fourth <br />Tuesdays, and every Wednesday through April 9th, the AARP volunteers will <br />be present to help seniors with tax preparation. <br />Finance -.There was no report. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Petschauer said he and Mr. Goley attended <br />their January 25th meeting. He said that most of the meeting centered around <br />mutual problems, listing the topics. He announced the 1986 officers. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Etzler said M.A.R.C..meets the first Thursday of every month. <br />Mr. Etzler said M.A.R.C. is investigating the cost of a permanent sign at <br />the Middle School and an ice skating program, and a financial report was <br />given. <br />Recreation - Mr. Petschauer said the Recreation Committee met February 12. <br />He reported that Mark Campo has been recommended to the Mayor and Council <br />for the position of Softball Coordinator. Softball registration is March 19 <br />and Lunch with the Easter Bunny is March 22. He explained the details and <br />encouraged everyone to attend. Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said the Commit'tee did not meet. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they met February 3 and the temporary <br />sign for Paris Development Company was approved. A proposal for a sma11 <br />medical building where Mr. Plastine's house is, was submitted and will be <br />discussed at their Workshop Meeting on Thursday. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Century 21 Sign - Mr. Amendola said Mr. Byrne has received the sleeves for <br />the sign, and the electrician was supposed to be there last Thursday or <br />Friday but was not there.• As soon as the electrician notifies him, he will <br />see that the sleeves are put on. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />? <br />? <br /> <br />Bike Path Extension - Mr. Hovancsek said he received an oral approval from <br />the Metropark to move forward on the bike extension to White Road. The <br />Metropark field.crew will be doing the field work. The plans will be . <br />submitted within the next 30 days and the project should be under construction <br />this summer. He confirmed that the new extension will be at no cost to the <br />Village.
