129 Ordinance No. 86-18 (as.amended)., entitled; "AN,ORDINANCE PROVIDING A PROCEDURE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY'."-I Introduced by G:ouncil President Richard.C. Etzler. Mr. Etzler stated that.Ordinance No. 86-18 would be held for further discussion a.t the next Council Caucus. First Reading of Resolution No. 86-45, entitled; "A RESOLUTION DECLAF:ING DEPENDABLE PAINTING COMPANY TO BE THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR PAINTING OF THE VILLAGE HALL, FIRE STATION AND SENIOR CENTER COMMUNITY ROOM, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH SAID BIDDER IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHT THOUSAND.SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($8;7.90.00), REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mr. Etzl.er said that two matters had to be resolved; one - the specs called for a water base paint to be used on the metal surface of the Fire Station and the other.called for the color of white to be used throughout. Following a discussion it was decided that the contractor would have to substitute oil base apint on the inetal surfaces and that the color of white would remain. Mr. Etzler requested that the Building Department get a starting date and the length of time t.he job would take trom the contraetor. Mr. Goley, secor.ded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None - Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Goley, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion.to adopt Resolution No. 86-45.
