7 Architectural Review Board 1305.08 1305.04 QUALYFICATIOIV OF MENLBERS. Each member of the Architec4ural Review Board shall preferably be a registered architect duly registered and authorized to practice in the Stats of Ohio, and shall have beon actively engaged in such practice for a period of not 1ess tha.n five yeaxe prior to his or her appointnent to the Boardy and shall be a resident of this MunicipaZity. Each member of the Architeci,ural R,evi.ew Boaxd shall serve without canipensa,tiion, (Ord, 74-48o Passed 1-2-75. ) 1305a 06 CONFLICT OI' INTEREST, No memloer or alternate member af the Architectural Rev'iew Board shall participate in the review of any work of wliich he or any partner or professional associa.te is the author or in which he or they may have any direct or indirect financial intexesto (Ord, 74-48a Passed 1-2-75,) Pi1RPOSE5, Th,e puzposes of the .tlrchitectural R,eview Board are to protect property on which ? buildings or structures are construct,ed or altered9 to maintain the high character of .:? community development, and to protect real estate withul the Municipality from impair- ment or destruction of valuey by regulating according to proper architectural and enf;ineering principals the dosign, use of materialsn finished grade, lines9 dimensions, location and orientation of all new buildings or structures hereafter erected, a.??d the movi.ng, alteration, improvement, repair, adding to or razing zn wliole or in part, of all e.,dsting buildings or structuresa The Boaxd shall exercise its powers and perform its chaties for the accomplishment of such purposes only. (Orda 74-48a Passed 1-2-75m ) 1305.08 AUTHOR,ITYe The ArchitectLu-al Review Board shall have and is hereby vested with authority to exercise the powers and perform the duties herein provided, ancl shall have the powers to malce its own rules of proeeclure, wi.th the following li.mitatfons: (a) One member of the Board shall be elaci:ed cha.irman of the Board by the members thereof, and shall be respons9.ble for the praper aciministratian of its ciutiesa (b) One member of the Eoa,rd shall act as secretary, and shall keep, or cause to be kepta in f;he Village Ha119 a complete recoxd of all meetingg of the Board, and of a11 transactions hanclled by the Board„ (b) Its quorum shall cansist of tllree or more inembers.
